Discussion on Real Estate Regulations – What lies within?

India’s Real Estate sector is now on the cusp of a major refurbishment with the newly enacted, Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016. The Act, which is in the nascent stage of implementation, seems like an angel legislation aimed at bettering the flow of finances through financial institutions and FDI into the Real Estate sector.  Firm enforcement of project delivery timelines, demonstrable construction quality and assurance of legal clearances would go a long way in boosting the consumer confidence and making the industry more organized and mature.

Basavanagudi CPE organising a study circle to understand Real Estate Regulations on 28th April 2017. The session is aimed to cover pertinent implications and nuances of the new legislation that it holds for the Real Estate sector.  As a part of this session, the draft and final set of rules notified by some State Governments (including that of Karnataka) would also be discussed.
