Know your Professional Ethics – 7th October 2016 Basavanagudi CPE Study Circle

Professional ethics is a term that encompasses the organizational and personal standards of behavior a professional individual is expected to possess. Most organizations have their own internal code of practice that defines the professional ethics of a certain profession.

These special standards are morally binding to “professed” members of the profession. If a member freely declares (or professes) himself to be part of a profession, He is voluntarily implying that he will follow these special moral codes. If the majority of members of a profession follow the standards, the profession will have a good reputation and members will generally benefit; if the majority of members violate these voluntary standards, professed members of a profession will be at a disadvantage or at the least receive no benefit from declaring a profession.

The maintenance of ethical Standards is necessary to keep on reinforcing the idea of keeping up and observing the highest ethical standards repeatedly. With this end in view and also keeping in mind the need to adhere to our creed “Excellence, Independence and Integrity”, as well as the changing dimensions and requirements of our members in their professional responsibilities the following lecture meet organized by Basavanagudi CPE Study Circle attempts to disseminate the knowledge in brief the ethical requirements and updated information to the members:
